Since 23 October 2009, elected and appointed as the Indonesian Representative to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR). In 2013, for the second time, reelected and reappointed as the Indonesian Representative to AICHR for the period of 2013-2015. Currently is the Executive Director of the HRWG (Human Rights Working Group) – a Coalition of Indonesian NGOs for International Human Rights Advocacy, a Jakarta based network organisation, with members more than 45 organisations (national and provincial levels) from various sectors (women’s rights, children rights, environmental groups, urban poor, peasant and fisherman organization, migrant workers, etc.)
